Vintage Plum

I’m keeping the best for second / last, but here’s the inspiration for a table I worked on last week. Highlighting that gorgeous Texas stone wall, golden beeswax candles, natural gray linens, are paired with vintage plum and metallic gold.

I wanted something a little more classic, a little regal–almost opulent with the gilded calligraphy, deep plum linens, rich tones, yet still grounded and a little earthy. I wanted a floral option that was relatively simple and affordable to execute and these vintage bottles and bunches of single stems are the perfect, a little whimsical,  answer. I think it will be a nice contrast to the the venue, while encouraging a direction that isn’t the usual Spanish/Tuscan/Texas Hill Country.
