Summer Harvest Inspiration

It’s the dog days of summer heat here in Texas, and I’m dreaming of outdoor dinners amidst friends and family. For a summer harvest, I like the simplicity of the place settings mixed with fruit and seasonal vegetables — a trend that is popular for plenty of amazing reasons. That deep leaf green mixed with the black-purple of plums against crisp white is a combination that I’d love to see happen more often! Don’t be shy about mixing ornate, delicate elements with a more natural, rustic base — an air-dried linen tablecloth perhaps?

Honestly, there is little better than designing to the historically marvelous and detailed interiors at The Perry Belmont House in DC, and our late fall dinner party-turned-boudoir-inspired revelry did not disappoint. As big art patrons and collectors, J&S came to us looking for guidance on where their wedding celebration ought to take place. Considering spots […]

When we received word that the mother of the groom was set on using The Adolphus Hotel in Dallas as the scene for the welcome dinner for guests of C & C’s late January wedding, we were beyond excited. We’ve been huge fans of the elegant, light-filled 19th Floor Ballroom (also known as The Governor’s […]
