Round Up // Camille Styles Book + Bridal Fashion Week

Indian Wedding Color Inspiration // Martha Stewart Wedding Magazine

We’re rounding the corner to one of our last big weddings of the year, but this week we kept busy with a Camille Styles book shoot at this amazing Homeaway House (for rent!), not to mention that NY Bridal Week has started up!

The Nouveau Romantics Florals for Camille Styles Book // Southwestern Fall

We’ve been working with Camille on the floral aspect of her book, and this week was a nice surprise as we pulled together a lot of “fall inspired” arrangements. The shoot went so smoothly, in many thanks to the amazing venue that we were using — Carly and Christopher Clayton’s house is up on Homeaway and available to rent. I utterly love it!

It should be no surprise – for those that know me and my love of wedding dresses (true!) – that the NY Bridal Week is always a fun time to be on instagram. Brides Magazine and Martha Stewart Weddings have the front row scoop, and I’m plotting my way (somehow?) to get to join in the festivities some time.

Finally – the count down is on! Our Brazos Hall wedding next week has James Moes flying in for the photography, and McKenzie Powell as my floral sidekick for this Indian – Taiwanese mixed wedding. Expect plenty of metallic gold, vibrant reds, oranges, and yellow — this couple loves their colors, and we should expect plenty of dancing! Keep an eye on the TNR instagram to witness the ultimate carnation garland making party …. with a marathon Netflix session, I’d wager.

Honestly, there is little better than designing to the historically marvelous and detailed interiors at The Perry Belmont House in DC, and our late fall dinner party-turned-boudoir-inspired revelry did not disappoint. As big art patrons and collectors, J&S came to us looking for guidance on where their wedding celebration ought to take place. Considering spots […]

When we received word that the mother of the groom was set on using The Adolphus Hotel in Dallas as the scene for the welcome dinner for guests of C & C’s late January wedding, we were beyond excited. We’ve been huge fans of the elegant, light-filled 19th Floor Ballroom (also known as The Governor’s […]

As one of the first and often most important decisions, your venue sets the tone for both your wedding as well as your to-do list for your planning journey. While your venue may or may not be the same for both your ceremony and reception, there are practical considerations such as inclusions (rentals, etc) or […]
