Let’s be real: if you’ve typed “Denver wedding venue” into Google and landed on a sea of white barns, industrial spaces with string lights, and vaguely rustic “event centers,” you’re not wrong to want more. You want aesthetic. You want vibe. You want flexibility and privacy and something your guests haven’t seen a dozen times before.
Enter Oceana’s Garden.
Just 15 minutes outside downtown Boulder, this family-owned Mediterranean-style estate is channeling romantic villa style, without hopping on a flight to Italy. European-style gardens that have been lovingly cultivated since the early '90s, a dramatic tree-lined drive that feels like an entrance, and multiple outdoor spots for ceremony, cocktails, and dinner. It’s private, it’s soulful, and it’s unlike anything else in Colorado.
We’ve spent the last 15+ years designing weddings that are experientially stunning, deeply personal, and logistically rock-solid—especially on private properties like Oceana’s Garden.
This isn’t just another pretty venue to us. We know the layout. We know the light. We know how to translate your vision into a weekend experience that flows beautifully from start to finish—while keeping your guests comfortable, your timeline on track, and the behind-the-scenes seamless.
We bring an architectural level of thoughtfulness, a deep respect for aesthetic detail, and a planner’s mind for what actually works. It’s not just about how it looks. It’s about how it feels—and how it functions.
If you’re looking for a team that gets both the creative and the practical? That’s us.
Spring: Lush green growth, wildflowers, and garden magic. Risk of spring showers.
Peak Bloom: First week of June and first week of July—flower goals.
Summer: Long golden hours, fewer bugs, dry heat. Plan for shade and hydration.
Fall: Crisp air, epic light, changing leaves. Photographer's dream.
Winter: Not common unless tented and heated (and the weather cooperates).
Avoid: CU move-in weekends, home football games, Bolder Boulder, and Octoberfest-style weekends. These spike hotel prices and traffic.
Planning Tip: Check the Farmer’s Almanac for your date—historical weather patterns help you make a smart choice for guest comfort and floral peak.
Comfortably hosts up to 215 guests. More is possible but depends on layout and vendor logistics.
We spend an average of 500+ hours on every full-service wedding we take on.
That time isn’t about busywork, it’s about stewardship. Of your vision, your budget, your time, and the experience your guests will actually have.
We’re not just planners. We’re designers, strategists, and project managers. When you hire us, you’re hiring a team that is actively managing logistics, aligning vendors, navigating personalities, and anticipating challenges long before they ever reach you. Behind the scenes, we’re monitoring timelines, revising plans, problem-solving in real time, and sending hundreds of emails you’ll never have to read.
We care deeply about our clients—and our vendor partners. The best weddings are built by teams who trust one another and enjoy the process as much as the outcome.
This work is layered, demanding, and deeply intentional—and we take it seriously. Because of this, we take on a very limited number of full-service weddings each year and typically begin booking 12–14 months in advance.

Tents are a must. There’s no indoor backup, so your planner will help you design a full coverage plan that still feels intentional and beautiful.
