Jewel-Toned Summer Wedding at Casa Dos Penedos in Sintra, Portugal

What began as a conversation about a hometown Atlanta Four Seasons wedding quickly evolved into something far more evocative. Once we introduced the idea of a European villa—specifically the blush-hued Casa dos Penedos nestled in the hills of Sintra, Portugal—the decision became obvious. With just 50 guests, this August destination celebration offered everything the couple wanted: exceptional food, air-conditioned comfort, and a truly one-of-a-kind setting that delivered elevated experience and greater value.

Inspired by the venue’s rich architecture and the presence of actual peacocks on the grounds, we designed a palette of saturated jewel tones—plum, sapphire, emerald—with textural floral compositions that echoed the villa’s romantic eccentricity. The weekend began with a sunset rooftop welcome dinner in Lisbon, then transitioned to the ceremony and reception just outside the city. The result was intimate, refined, and unforgettable—a departure from the expected, in every beautiful way.
