"I wanted to bring horses into the day without having a rustic wedding." said the bride, Kristina. Instead, we set out to create a celebration that was equal parts elegant garden party and sophisticated black-tie affair in Ketonah, New York—just north of New York City. 

The couple's first look began in a paddock, and they exchanged vows in front of Martha's stone stables. Post ­ceremony, guests gathered for cocktails, live jazz, and toasts, and then the couple welcomed everyone, with the barn doors opening to reveal a space transformed with swags of fabric, strings of lights, and tables set for what Kristina calls "a really lively, fun dinner party."
