We’ve been patiently (or maybe not-so patiently) awaiting the day that we could share these images with all of you! This September, we had the incredible opportunity to design and produce a wedding at Martha Stewart’s breathtaking Westchester, NY estate. Kristina and Barrett came to us looking for a lush and sophisticated take on a garden party celebration. And garden party we did!
Martha’s Upstate New York property offered the perfect backdrop for our garden inspiration with incredible greenhouses, acres of grassy fields and forest, and most any plant one could hope for. And if you know us, you know we hope for ALL of the plants. The bride, who also happens to be Martha’s niece, (we know– we were bummed to hear we couldn’t rent the property ourselves!) wore a remarkable Alon Livne White gown that we’re still lusting over. A delicately beaded top, illusion neckline, and fitted crepe skirt and our dreams have come true.
The winter issue of Martha Stewart Weddings hits newsstands today. Grab a copy to see the feature along with some tips straight from Martha and the bride herself on creating your dream wedding!
Check out more photos after the jump and stay tuned for Part II
