Illustrated Genius / Melinda Josie

As part of my ‘Canadian artists are completely rockin” interweb searches, I stumbled across Toronto-based illustrator Melinda Josie via Uschi & Kay. I have a longstanding love of watercolors – not only as they’re a tricky medium to work with, but because they exude a certain softness. This lass’ talent is obvious, and enough to make me want to send her a request for a commission. Check out her website for a whole slew of other works – including many really lovely interpretations of everyday things. And a blog!
