Chambray Spring Wedding Inspiration // The Wild Onion Ranch

Ashley and James were one of my favourite couples this past spring — she came to me with pretty specific instructions to create a wedding that had both feminine and masculine touches that reflected them both, and together. She, a rocket scientist / mechanical engineer (no joke) and he, (now) a roller coaster designer were self-confessed “nerds” with a penchant for good music, and a great party. I loved the mix of chambray blues with citrus-inspired yellows, peaches, oranges. It’s a gorgeous combination that doesn’t scream girly, or fall too prim and proper. Perfect for the Wild Onion Ranch, and even better for them. Stay tuned for the full wedding details!

Honestly, there is little better than designing to the historically marvelous and detailed interiors at The Perry Belmont House in DC, and our late fall dinner party-turned-boudoir-inspired revelry did not disappoint. As big art patrons and collectors, J&S came to us looking for guidance on where their wedding celebration ought to take place. Considering spots […]

When we received word that the mother of the groom was set on using The Adolphus Hotel in Dallas as the scene for the welcome dinner for guests of C & C’s late January wedding, we were beyond excited. We’ve been huge fans of the elegant, light-filled 19th Floor Ballroom (also known as The Governor’s […]

While your venue may or may not be the same for both your ceremony and reception, there are practical considerations such as inclusions (rentals, etc) or […]
