Spring Lavender Wedding Invitations

We’re excited to share some of our custom lavender wedding invitations and day-of stationary for Christen and Charlie’s lovely spring wedding last year. [See their Hill Country inspiration here and their Snippet and Ink feature here!}Their guest list was small, but we kept the design and printing really simple with black ink on thick, luscious Crane Lettra (Pearl White) paper. We always like to think of invitations as little gifts to your guests that they open up and discover layers of information and presentation in their hands. With that, we decided to jazz up a classic stationary suite by wrapping it with open-weave linen in a lavender shade that was tied with antique silver thread and a hand-hammered “B” for their shared last name.

Letterpress in one color is the most cost effective option that creates a luxurious hand-feel, yet still remained cost-effective when carried into the wedding day paper goods.

The favors, coasters with recipes for C&C’s signature cocktails, were also wrapped in the same delicate metallic string used to wrap their invitations. It’s the little touches carried throughout that make your wedding stationary cohesive .

It feels like somewhere someone actually lives and loves. I’m Liz, the […]
