One year, 365 days since a community suddenly lost a young man who embodied generosity, humility, the genuine. I take solace in the fact that the only way I remember Chris is him laughing, his smile, and his spot-on imitation of Bill Murray in Caddy Shack.

This tree is the perfect marker, reminder, source of protection for his memory. A beloved man, for certain.
