I don’t think jazzed quite accurately describes how excited I am about joining the ranks of contributors over at Oh Joy twice a month — although jazzed immediately makes me think of jazz hands, which is a quick hop over to the box step, and every other musical theater move I’ve got. In short: dance-inducing excited.

I’ll be posting a floral ditties that are inspired by art, fashion, food, interiors — pretty much anything that I can get my hands on! So far it’s been really meditative. I sniff around the interwebs for beautiful images, gather up some florals, and then just take a breather away from the computer to make something pretty.

In other words, I spent 45 minutes last week watching these poppies emerge from their pods. It was really lovely, and the kind of break I desperately needed (and rarely rarely take).

So keep an eye out on Oh Joy for a lot more ahem floral fashioning!
