When Sarah, the bride, came to us asking for a “cabinet of curiosity” meets “belle époque” science-inspired wedding at Chateau Bellevue this past winter — our ears perked up. From florals to escort cards we were able to play with unique and other-worldly elements to create a wedding experience that reflected the shared interests of the scientist bride and groom. The Nichols photographers did such a wonderful job of capturing their personalities in the spirit of the day.
The wedding flowers, including the bride’s nontraditional bouquet, were filled with texture and plants that might have come out of the latest Tim Burton epic. Bell jars and specimen etiquettes were incorporated with candles and scarab wax seals to create an atmosphere that was both beautiful and one of a kind. It was a pleasure working with Dani Viveros from The Simplifiers. She did a great job making sure everything went off without a hitch.
