I’ve been having long g-chat sessions with a good friend who is slated to get married at one of my all-time dream locations in California this May – Headlands Center for the Arts in Marin. As this couple of architects [I know, somehow we all stick together] draw closer to their wedding weekend, Jenn and I banter about logistics, crafting plans, while I simultaneously dispense advice and then promptly inform her that I’m taking on her floral plans myself. [three cheers for the SF floral market, hip hip hooray!] I can’t help myself, I like to make things pretty– which should really just be my tagline. They’re also very good friends. However, this place isn’t going to take much to look bonkers gorgeous:
In addition, I remember our long emails about photographers [upon which I probably had dozens of suggestions] and I’m really excited to meet theirs, Ms. Christina Richards. Her portfolio has expanded incredibly in the last year, and there’s just a certain quality to her images that I really love. It’s always fun to see who creative-minded folks choose to capture their day, and I think their location is going to be well-suited to Christina’s aesthetic.
[pssst / did you know she has a print shop? with options like this one or this one? methinks they will be making an addition to my already jam-packed walls.]
