1. We were featured on Style Me Pretty! Such a fantastic honor, and again, I’m so grateful for the team that helped make it happen.

2. This past week was a mad dash prepping for my return to Mercury Hall for the first wedding of the season Saturday! It was a bit surreal to revisit the place where ML and I were married (part deux), and from the looks of things, I should be returning there for a number in the coming year. The image above is the final iteration of a flower curtain we made to frame the ceremony area – the shadows really made it come alive, don’t you think? The flowers were *gorgeous* and I can’t wait to see the pro pics. [Peonies, lilacs, garden roses oh my!]

3. Finally, we’re off to the westward land. Remember this post? Next weekend our good friends are getting married at Headlands Center for the Arts and I’m thrilled to be a part of it. We’re driving (nuts, yes) to LA for a day stopover, then up the California coast, then to the SF flower market and wedding prettification (my specialty), a week at Yosemite, a week in the Bay area and then home! It’s going to be a whirlwind, but a very very overdue vacation for the two of us. (And I even scored us a reservation at Chez Panisse. Be still my heart!)

Anyone have any killer LA food recommendations? This girl has got a lunch by herself and I want to make it a good one!

Honestly, there is little better than designing to the historically marvelous and detailed interiors at The Perry Belmont House in DC, and our late fall dinner party-turned-boudoir-inspired revelry did not disappoint. As big art patrons and collectors, J&S came to us looking for guidance on where their wedding celebration ought to take place. Considering spots […]

When we received word that the mother of the groom was set on using The Adolphus Hotel in Dallas as the scene for the welcome dinner for guests of C & C’s late January wedding, we were beyond excited. We’ve been huge fans of the elegant, light-filled 19th Floor Ballroom (also known as The Governor’s […]
