Sperry Tents in Austin and Texas!

As you may have heard, Sperry Tents are now available in Austin! Our friends at Whim Hospitality are serving Austin, San Antonio, Houston, and the surrounding areas with these incredible sailcloth tents. Considering how many of the Texas-based events we do are outside, we’re always on the lookout for creative and beautiful ways to incorporate tents into our events — but really, we prefer to find a way to ensure that the rain plan is just as beautiful as the Plan A! Sperry Tents need very little introduction as they’ve been all over the USA for a while, and we’re so glad that they’re now down in the Lone Star State. It’s about time! Sperry Tents in Austin // The Nouveau Romantics // Austin Wedding Planning and Event Design Studio In case you missed it on The Nouveau Romantics Instagram, this beautiful Sperry tent made an appearance at our first wedding of the year near Navasota, TX a couple of weeks ago. We snapped this quick photo but we can’t wait to see the final photos from the one and only Jose Villa! We’re big fans of the light, airiness, height and charm of these beauties.

Do you want to see some more pictures of what’s possible? These will fit right at home on all those ranch weddings we’ve got in the pipeline!

Honestly, there is little better than designing to the historically marvelous and detailed interiors at The Perry Belmont House in DC, and our late fall dinner party-turned-boudoir-inspired revelry did not disappoint. As big art patrons and collectors, J&S came to us looking for guidance on where their wedding celebration ought to take place. Considering spots […]

When we received word that the mother of the groom was set on using The Adolphus Hotel in Dallas as the scene for the welcome dinner for guests of C & C’s late January wedding, we were beyond excited. We’ve been huge fans of the elegant, light-filled 19th Floor Ballroom (also known as The Governor’s […]

As one of the first and often most important decisions, your venue sets the tone for both your wedding as well as your to-do list for your planning journey. While your venue may or may not be the same for both your ceremony and reception, there are practical considerations such as inclusions (rentals, etc) or […]
