The Commodore Perry Estate Hosts a Bold & Colorful Wedding

Originally envisioning a Northeast fall celebration, this couple pivoted when nothing quite clicked—and ended up bringing their people to Austin’s The Commodore Perry Estate instead. What followed was a masterclass in intentional hospitality: a vibrant destination weekend hosted by two of the most generous, thoughtful clients we’ve ever worked with. Their priority? A celebration that felt joyful, bold, and unforgettable—not just for them, but for every guest who made the trip.

Inspired by a sunset-hued image the bride brought early on, we built a palette of citrus, poppy, and magenta, grounded by midnight blue and emerald green. Dinner unfolded under a Sperry tent in the garden; the afterparty took over the estate’s chapel, where a silver balloon installation and custom tile-inspired dance floor turned the intimate space into something extraordinary. It was the most colorful wedding The Commodore Perry has ever seen—and without question, one of the most loved.
