On a cold, clear January day, Cristina walked down the aisle in her mother's Oscar de la Renta dress, and married Collin in the same church as the bride's parents 39 years prior. This only hinted at the importance that family heritage and tradition was, and would be for the rest of the evening.
Post-ceremony, guests arrived to a glowing tent of candlelight and flowers at the parent’s of the bride’s home that came adorned with textiles, candelabras and other art pieces straight from the family’s personal collection.
After a multi-course Mexican-inspired dinner, the dance floor was packed compliments of Midnight Special band, capping a joyful day that honored all the great loves of the bride’s life: her husband, her family, and the artists and artisans that might as well be.
“I don’t think I’ve ever smiled so big,” she says. “It just felt so right.”
