Hi, I'm elizabeth.

Sometimes, when you stop blogging [insert a myriad of reasons here] and you know you should start up again, instead, it just seems to get harder by the day. And so, in regard of this irrational rationalization, I’m figuring it’s best to veer directly off-course when starting up again and post things ultimately unrelated to flowers, events, and the like. So, some pretty things that I’ve come across recently.

IDS this year in Toronto was covered by the Kitka / Mjolk crew and I personally love the neon sign from MASON‘s entry, and it’s reference to my national anthem. Canadian patriotism at its restrained best. [In neon, obviously.]

Our Home and Native Land

This beautiful baby quilt created by Toronto photographer Celine Kim for her upcoming bebe is simple and striking. I’d like an adult-sized version if anyone has some extra time on their hands.

Finally, we’re in the beginnings (or middle? I’ve been thinking about this for months!) of finally retrofitting the studio space to be significantly more functional. Might have to do with some storage issues, but needless to say, I’m excited to get going. McKenzie Powell‘s serene white space is one that I’ve bookmarked heavily.

And with that, we’re back. Also? Morocco + Paris recaps, with some pictures of the most beautiful B&B we stayed in Normandy. It’s how we should all live with such equisite, but unstuffy, antiques. So much to tell, not to mention many, many, flowers to recap.
